As Christmas draws near, Link REIT Asset Management (Link) proudly presents 'A Ginger Christmas' at Stanley Plaza to celebrate its 10th anniversary. Ginger not only warms the body and soul, but is also a staple ingredient for winter festivities. Gingerbread men, made with ginger as a key ingredient, have long been a traditional Christmas treat and decoration. The word 'Ginger' in Cantonese also implies courage and fearlessness. This year, Stanley Plaza's Christmas celebration centers around the theme of 'Ginger', inviting everyone to join a series of 'A Ginger Christmas' events from 19 to 28 December 2025 at the Stanley Waterfront and Murray House. Are you brave enough to join us for a heartwarming Christmas celebration?
Over 100 popular and handmade stalls Exclusive ginger-themed culinary delights
'A Ginger Christmas' features over 100 stalls, including both returning favorites and newcomers, offering creative products, handicrafts, and Christmas-themed delights. Returning vendors include Hugo's Cheese, a favorite among cheese lovers, authentic German cuisine from Biergarten, and The Nutter, known for their Hong Kong-made gelato. New to the Stanley Christmas market are Michelin Bib Gourmand-recommended Fisholic,上水爆谷, famous for its local flavors, and the elusive Curry Boy, a hidden curry specialist. The market also gathers nearly 30 popular F&B brands, such as H.K. Lovecraft, a local craft beer brewery, '白蘭樹下', a Hong Kong-style gin, the trending 'Donut Demo', the popular cake shop 'Petite Sweet', and 'Diverxu', a Spanish ham specialty store. In addition, Jacques n Grill, a beloved European family restaurant, will make a strong comeback with a pop-up store, introducing exclusive ginger-themed culinary creations for a surprising taste experience.
Market-exclusive 'Ginger Bar' featuring ginger-based cocktails fusing local flavors with festive creativity
Collaborating with Ng Fai Tong, a herbal tea and liquor bar, this event celebrates the versatility of 'Ginger'. Our professional bartending team has crafted special cocktails featuring fresh ginger grown locally in Hong Kong, blending traditional herbal tea recipes with modern mixology techniques. The resulting Stanley Market-exclusive 'ginger cocktails' offer a rich flavor profile, retaining the warm and spicy essence of ginger while infusing festive cheer into every sip.
'Ginger Gallery' challenges visual boundaries Gifting locally grown ginger
The 'Ginger Gallery' pushes the boundaries of traditional festive events with innovative artistic perspectives. We have invited several up-and-coming Hong Kong artists to create unique art pieces inspired by 'Ginger'. Drawing from the form, color, history, and cultural symbolism of ginger, these artists seamlessly blend ingredients, art, and festivities, showcasing the limitless possibilities of ginger as an artistic medium. The event offers a Christmas sensory experience that surpasses imagination, and the art pieces will be available for charitable sale on-site, with partial proceeds donated to the Food Angel Foundation to support their meal assistance programs, providing warmth and nourishment to those in need through the power of art.
